Day 42

This is a picture that I took last night at work this is one of my co-workers Tana. She didn't run from me! We have a new Store Manager filling in while Theresa is recovering from her surgery. I miss her! If you want to save some money visit your local Jo-Anns tons of stuff went into clearance!!! I was hurting sooo bad I didn't buy anything except 2 lil $1.00 books for Aden...he loves his books!

I am sorry I didn't get it posted last night I had a rough night......my feet are killing me and am having a hard time today walking. Glad I have tonight off... I think after Aden gets picked up I am sitting in the whirlpool tub....calgon take me away!!!!

Day 41

Here is a digital layout that I have posted on my other blog. But I want to learn the digital layouts this year to do my Project 365....so I thought I would post it here.

This is a photo of my niece and if you read the other blog it will fill you in on the title more. It is some Word Art that I found and it fit perfect for this photo.

I have been collecting some amazing digital papers and awesome elements for almost 2 years now and I really need to play with them so I can learn what I am doing!

Lorrie and Barb are sooo way ahead and staying on top of getting them done...and doing such an amazing job!!

Better get to bed I have Aden plus work tomorrow....makes for a long day.

Day 40

This is a picture I got from the TV this morning we are getting some snow and more on its way....JOY!!!

I live in Defiance so you can see we will be getting hit with most of it! I am feeling sorry for Gary I am sure he will be working late as his company got the contract for snow removal for General Motors....so I think he might be a little grumpy after work as well....another joy!! What is the scary part I live 5 acres plus from the main road...he might not even be able to make it back here!

Oh I have to thank you Bridget!!! From me doing this 365 project he is finally starting to pick up his underwear and socks!!!! I spotted some outside the hamper on the floor the other day and I told him...hey you don't even want me to have this for my Picture Of The Day for the whole world wide web to see!! What really gets me is that they are not even an inch from the hamper....why???? Now if I can get him to put the toilet seat down!!

Day 39

Here is another bird shot sorry girls this is what I enjoy!!! Here he or she (not sure how to tell on the woodpeckers) has some suet in his beak!!
I found some awesome moss on a spool that we started carrying at work and I have plans to make an album "The Path Home" and using some of these bird photos in it as well...now I have to figure out how to make my bricks out of polymer clay for my side walk. Plus I might also do a mini album of just my bird photos. "For the Birds" sounds like a great title!
I make some of my own suet blocks for my birds using my saved bacon grease, oatmeal,cornmeal.peanut butter,and black berries....they love it!!!
Also I want to thank you all who visit my other blog....I got 30 comments on Moms Triptych layout!!! That is the most I have ever gotten from a project....I will be passing out an award later for all of those who left comments! I really do appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment it fills my heart with sooo much joy!!!

Day 38: Half Time

Well I took soo many pictures during half time on the Super Bowl game I couldn't pick just one! The Who really did an awesome job....I know showing my age here! And I loved the light show! Hope everyone enjoyed the game and enjoyed all the commericals...my fav was the Doritos with the dog and bark collar!!

Day 37

Here is a picture I took of the bean planter that was on our property when we bought it...I love the look of it and it remains where it was abandoned ...some day hopefully I will find the story behind it and maybe meet the farmer who left it behind. When we bought the property there was no road, no electric nothing we started from scratch. Ohhhh I will never forget how happy I was to get water!!! We use the water from our pond and I am telling you that was hard work! I am sure they heard me yahooing miles away!!

My awesome son is letting me play with his Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT so I took the photo with that before going to work. I have sooo much to learn on this one.

I LOVE the Canon Powershot SX1000IS that Shane bought me.....this is the camera that I have been using since he bought it for me Christmas 2009 I believe.

I am sooo blessed Shane is sooo good to me it brings tears to my eyes thinking of him and how proud I am to be his mother. I know you are reading Shane and I love you!!!

Better get to bed work early tomorrow....hmmmm wonder what every one's picture will be for tomorrow!!

Day 36

Today's picture I got after it starting snowing again today. That poor cardinal it was sooo windy he was trying to stay safe. I have soo many birds that this feeder has to be filled 2 times a day during the winter.

This feeder was given to me by my dear friend Diane that passed away she is also one of the girls in my layout "Girls Night Out" I love the look of it and when I commented on it one day visiting her she made her husband take it down and give it to me....I miss her terribly I have known her since we were in elementary school...she was something and she could do the best twist ever!!

Day 35

Here is what I wait for all week! I am hooked on Grey's Anatomy! Gary goes why ya taking a picture of the TV for? and I said Hello what do I watch on Thursdays!!! I am sooo glad we have the Tvio so when I am working on Thursday nights I can still watch it....before that I missed some shows due to someone forgetting to hit the record button on the VCR.

Here is a picture of Aden at his snack time....he was watching Bolt he is really loving this movie! I think he even said Bolt today!! He was really having fun today as you can tell by all the toys around! He looks sooo good in orange!

Day 32:OMGOSH!! ADEN!!!

OMGOSH this is a first for me!! I have watched hundreds of kids in my lifetime and I have NEVER seen this before!!!I was cutting up Aden's banana for his after nap snack and I heard a noise in the laundry room....I turned my head and there he sat in my dryer! Camera was on the bar from taking pictures earlier so I grabbed the camera. When his dad came to get him I said wait till you see my picture of the day! He then informed me Aden does this at home all the time lil stinker even closes the door.....now the laundry room door will be shut at all times. It is my fault that the dryer was open I found that after his bath he sleeps sooo good for me when I wrap him in a warm towel then powder him up. I spoil Gary like that too....(minus the baby powder!) gosh I wonder how good I would sleep if someone would warm a towel for me!!!

Day 31

Wow I just took notice I didn't post my picture last night! I might need to drink the "focus" Vitamin water more! Same home and watched my Sunday Night line up and fell asleep.

We had dinner at my sons and daughter in laws last night Angie makes the best enchiladas!!! I was soooo stuffed. I am so blessed to have her as a daughter in law!

Here is a picture of their cat hope I can spell it right Cucuy means hairy monster in Spanish. This cat is huge the floor moves when he walks!!! He has lost some weight his tummy use to be sooo close to the floor! He also is a Polydactyl cat meaning he has 8 toes!! And I do think that those tye of cats are a little bigger than other cats.

here is Angies recipe:

2 lbs ground beef
2 cans of chili with beans
1 small onion (chopped)
1 bag of shredded cheese or more depending how cheesey you want it.
2 small cans of red enchilada sauce (mild)
18 corn tortillas
chili powder
Heat chili in sauce pan, add a can of water for each can of chili. Add salt, pepper and chili powder to season. When heated, scoop out meat and beans and put into a bowl. Keep chili sauce heating in pan on medium low heat. Cook ground beef, add chopped onions, salt, pepper, and chili powder to season meat. When meat is cooked, mix it with bean and meat from chili. Set off to side. Dip 1 tortilla at a time in chili sauce until it is softened, do not let it get soggy. Layer them in cake pan like you would for lasagna. Should have 6 for each layer, covering the bottom of pan. Add a layer of meat and bean mixture. Add a layer of cheese. Pour some enchilada sauce to cover 1st layer. Repeat with 6 more tortillas, meat mixture, cheese and sauce. Should have 3 layers. On the last layer, pour some of chili sauce on top before the cheese and enchilada sauce to keep moist.
Bake in oven on 350 degrees, until cheese is melted.
